Would we consider the eMac part of the G3 iMac series?

I'll start with: I know there's an entire PowerPC generation difference, design language update, purpose difference, and a completely different price target. However to me the eMac feels like it was supposed to be more of a SNES Jr. to the iMac G3 we all love. Kind of something you would be excited to see in your school since "Hey! My family has a blue one at home!" The eMac was designed to be the education tier of the iconic G4 Daisy iMac but it really does kind of have the vibe of a cheaper, updated version of the G3. Another example being the PS2 Slim 90000 during the lifetime of the PS3 or even the iPhone XR.
Especially with the inclusion of the Apple Pro Keyboard, originally, and since it's the very last of the CRT iMacs. It all just feels like Apple's final goodbye to the G3 and capping off that lineage of iMac. Even being symbolic; those who got a G3 as a kid would be stepping into high-school, after seeing their parents do email and work papers on that trusty blueberry G3, ready for a more mature, professional, and work focused machine. Maybe with a more classy simplistic idea of the iMac.

How do you guys feel about this? To me it makes sense! This is by far my personal favorite Mac design of all time!

I would probably class the eMac in same category as the iMac G3, I probably will on the wiki as well (if you wan't to start the page please feel free!!!! https://wiki.retrotechcollection.com/Apple_eMac). It was one of the direct successors to the iMac G3s. Apple did also learn a lot from the iMac Slot Loader design and incorporated several improvements in the eMac, especially the internal fan which prevents overheating and everntual faliure of premature faliure of the flyback transformer.

It's definietly one of my favorite all-in-one Mac designs!
